Nothing That Turned Into Something It’s Easter morning and I am getting ready to head to her apartment to go to her brothers house for Easter meal. I hang out with her family on holidays all the time and it is so fun. Then we arrive and I am already ready for all the food. Walking through the door, the chicken and rice is up on the counter and I get all hype knowing that is going to end up in my stomach later. After we say hi to everyone we go outside and catch up saying things like “how you been?” , “Hows life?” , “Wanna come over this weekend?”, and so many more random things. All of a sudden Angelyk’s brother comes outside with the whipped cream and sprays it at us! I stand there completely still with my jaw dropping. As soon as I snap out of it I jump after the can to get revenge. I end up looking like a turtle on the ground trying to keep the whipped cream in my possession which doesn’t come out as planned. I get up and Angelyk points out something. “Yo bro! You got a huge bruise on your neck!” I laugh and say “not uh.” Angelyk pulls me into the bathroom and shows me. I start dying of laughter. I go to the living room to announce the news and everyone starts rolling. I was surprised at their action at all. Angelyk and I get cleaned up and finish our meal. Years before,it was the weekend. I was drowning in boredom trying everything and anything to get someone outside to hang out. I texted my friend Sania but then she started bullying me and saying mean things. She was doing it for no type of reason. I was over it, trying to hide my emotions but they all started pouring out. I was in the hallway of the apartment lobby sitting there, looking hopeless. Then, suddenly, Angelyk came up and asked “Hey bud, what’s wrong?” I told her everything and she invited me over to her house. We got to know each other better, played some games, added each other on social media. This event blossomed many memories in the coming future. Some months later, Angelyk and I are basically family, there is no other way to describe it. One day we were at my house chilling with our friend, Ayania. They were staying spending the night at my house. We had the day planned out. We were dancing all crazy, I sorta looked like a malfunctioning robot, Ayania was like a demented horse and Angie was just like a normal person. We were all out of breath. After a while we got settled down and placed blankets on the floor to make everyone comfortable to watch a movie. Through half of it I was knocked out and my friends were probably raiding the cabinets for food. When the movie is completely over they scream and throw the most random objects at me to try to wake me up. At the moment it is four o’clock; but we are cooking ramen noodles and scrambled eggs trying to avoid to wake my mom up. She ends up waking up anyway and we all go to sleep. A year has past and it is the summer of 2017. It is my last day living in New Holland. School has just ended and the crew is all meeting at the pavilion at the park. Since I have moved from New Holland, Angie and I haven’t been in touch as much as we used to be. But on September 14, 2018 is the day of my birthday party and going to be there. I watched the clock’s slow hands move for the time I get to go and see her. We arrived in the parking lot of Ozzy’s and in the entrance you can see the colorful flashing lights. We ran upstairs to get our skates. When we started skating Kaylie fell every two seconds, Angie broke her nail, I was dysfunctional, and my other friend Tasha, was just being a normal person. The music at the place sucked and it was boring but we all made the most fun out of it and had a blast with each other.
